The vast majority of our events are included with your park admission fee, but some events which require a small fee to participate to ensure you receive expert guidance and knowledge from specially trained individuals. Grandfather Mountain Amateur & Professional Camera Clinic 2017

Top photographers gather to present on the nuts and bolts of making good photographs. This event is free to working members of the press, with an additional cost for non-press professionals and amateurs. Online registration begins July 19.

Bear Encounter: Habitat Animal Interpretive Talk

Encounters provide an opportunity to see the habitat animals up close and learn about those native to the mountains of North Carolina. Animals will receive an enrichment toy or treat, and staff will be available to answer questions afterward. (10-15 minutes, meet at Bear Habitat)
