The leaves continue their trek into full fall color, with experts positing that the recent bout of wet, warm weather could prolong the season. Some of the most colorful spots include the heath balds on Grandfather and nearby Beacon Heights, as well as the 10-mile stretch on the Blue Ridge Parkway between Beacon Heights and Julian Price Park.
