Michaux’s Lilyor Carolina Lily

Smaller with fewer flowers than the Turk’s-cap lily, the petals lack the green basal markings of the Turk’s-cap. Obtusely pointed leaves are widest above the middle. Found in pine-oak woods in July and August.
